it's been awhile

well, i figure that it's been a bit too long since i've written on here. as it says, i moved to california about 4 months ago. it was a major life changing decision for me to take this job. it's been an interesting ride. california isn't really what i expected it to be, but i do like it. it is very different. sometimes i feel a bit claustrophobic with so many people around. i miss the big blue new mexico sky, and the white fluffy clouds. but it's fun being so close to the beach. my job is going well. i'm discovering though that either i'm just a really lazy person and don't like working, or maybe a desk job just isn't for me. i'm still thinking about landscape architecture. we'll see how that all plays out though. anyway, i'm liking my situation for now. i've made some awesome friends here and that has made it worth it. i do get homesick every once in awhile though. i guess you don't really realize how good something is until you say goodbye to it.
