i love mornings
so today started off so well, i felt the need to document it. ha...
i had a conference call at 7am this morning. (i have one every wednesday, my favorite thing about this job...) so i boot up my computer a little early, so i can look up the phone number and get connected to the the meeting online. well, first, my computer won't connect to the internet. when it finally does, i open my email and it freezes mid stride. it won't do anything, so i reboot, which for computer takes a looooong time. finally, around 7:20, i get connected to the meeting online and on the phone. whew! but all is not well. halfway through, at the most important part of the conversation, for no reason whatsoever, my phone disconnects. so i call the number again, it says its disconnected. i call again, it works, but my pin number doesn't. finally the third time i get through, and the meeting is pretty much over. thus was my day, up to 8am. needless to say i'm not in the mood to work on a computer today....
maybe today is cursed? or maybe it's just more proof that no one in their right mind should be expected to think clearly before 10am, not even computers and phones...
